Joaquin Arce shared something about Angel Locsin
Kapamilya actor Joaquin Arce considers A-list actress Angel Locsin, his stepmother, as his acting mentor.
Joaquin is one of the newest Star Magic artists. He was introduced with other new artists under the talent management company of ABS-CBN. The newbie celebrity is the son of Angel’s husband, businessman Neil Arce.
After Joaquin was introduced, Angel broke her social media hiatus just to show support for her stepson.
The A-list star congratulated Joaquin Arce and said that she is looking forward to working with him someday. With this, the fans of Angel Locsin got excited because it meant that there is a possibility that she will have her acting comeback.
Just recently, Neil shared an update about his wife, and he said that Angel is busy having her online classes and online gaming. He also shared that for now, there is no plan yet about Angel’s showbiz comeback.
In a recent interview, based on the article in ABS-CBN, Joaquin Arce shared that he considers Angel Locsin as her acting mentor. “She’s my mentor when it comes to acting. We are really close,” the newbie actor said.
Joaquin also shared that there was a time when Angel guided him during an audition. The actress even acted like the director. “She actually directed one of my auditions before; like she’s the one who told me, ‘Oh you should do it like this. Okay pwesto ka diyan’,” he recalled.
Joaquin also shared that Angel demonstrated how to say the lines of the character he was supposed to play. The young actor was surprised by how his stepmom did that. He said that it was one of those moments when he thought that he wanted to be like her. “I want to be that good,” he said.
Joaquin Arce also recalled the time when Angel Locsin broke her social media hiatus just to show support for him. He admitted that he was surprised by this.
The young actor said that his stepmom did not tell him that he would post about this. He was scrolling through Instagram at that time, and then, he saw his Tita Angel had posted an IG Story about his contract signing.
The actor also recalled being surprised when Angel proudly posted about him on her Instagram Stories as he signed with Star Magic.
