St. Timothy Construction Called by Marcos Jr. To Explain Flood Control Project in Bulacan

MARCOS JR. – The President expressed his disappointment over the incomplete and substandard flood control project in Bulacan.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos recently revealed that the expenses of the country for flood control projects has already hit over P500 billion. The amount covers the government deals from July 2022 to May 2025 and the President tagged it as “enormous”.

However, the details about the flood control government deals that shocked the President did not stop with the amount of public funds used for the contracts. Marcos Jr. was also surprised that 15 contractors got 20% of the total flood control projects of the government.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos even claimed that five (5) flood control project contractors were awarded with government deals in almost all regions in the country. The Marcos Jr. admin is investigating the matter.

Here are the 15 contractors that were awarded with 20% of the flood control project deals of the government:

  6. Topnotch Catalyst Builders Inc.

  8. Sunwest, Inc.
  9. Hi-Tone Construction & Development Corp.
  10. Triple 8 Construction & Supply, Inc.
  11. Royal Crown Monarch Construction & Supplies Corp.
  12. Wawao Builders
  13. MG Samidan Construction
  14. L.R. Tiqui Builders, Inc.
  15. Road Edge Trading & Development Services

With regards to the five (5) contractors with flood control deals in almost all regions in the country, they are the EGB Construction Corporation, the Legacy Construction Corporation, the St. Timothy Construction Corporation, the Alpha & Omega Gen. Contractor & Development Corp., and the Road Edge Trading & Development Services.

Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos called on the St. Timothy Construction Corporation over the flood control project in Bulacan. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, it was found to be incomplete and the materials used were substandard.

Marcos Jr. wants the St. Timothy Construction to explain its work on its flood control deal with the government in Bulacan. He stressed that the output caused sufferings on the residents.

“Mas mabuti pa dapat pumunta sila dito nang makita nila gaano kahirap ang buhay na binigay nila sa mga kababayan natin. Hindi puwedeng ganito, pambihira. This has been going on for years,” the President said.

Based on the report, the said flood control deal was funded in 2022 and it was marked completed in February 2023 based on the report from the Sumbong sa Pangulo website. According to Marcos Jr., they hired divers who really went into the bottom to check on the materials of the flood control structure.

“Mayroon kaming mga diver na sinisid sa ilalim at nakita talaga na very manipis lahat ng semento, hindi pantay-pantay. Talagang hindi maganda ang trabaho,” the Chief Executive said.

According to Marcos Jr., he cannot think what possible excuse the St. Timothy Construction may say regarding their work. Previously, the Pres. Bongbong Marcos said he will read the reports to the “Sumbong sa Pangulo” website about the flood control projects personally.
