FRANKIE PANGILINAN – Sharon Cuneta proudly shared a milestone moment for her daughter, Frankie Pangilinan, who was recently sworn in as the Youth Committee Chair of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc.

Singer-songwriter Frankie “Kakie” Pangilinan, daughter of Senator Kiko Pangilinan and veteran actress Sharon Cuneta, has taken on a new role as part of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. (SSFI), adding another achievement to her growing list of endeavors.

On Instagram, both Sharon and Frankie shared snapshots from the oath-taking event, where Frankie was sworn in as Chairperson of the Committee on Youth. “So proud of my baby girl!!!” Sharon expressed in her caption, celebrating her daughter’s latest milestone.

Messages of support quickly followed, with celebrities such as Judy Ann Santos, Bianca Gonzalez, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Darla Sauler congratulating Frankie on her new role.

In her own social media update, Frankie mentioned other newly appointed members of the foundation, including Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano, wife of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, and Gladys Cruz, wife of Senator Joel Villanueva.

For years, the Senate Spouses Foundation has provided a platform for legislators’ spouses and family members to participate in charitable programs and advocacy projects. By welcoming Frankie—who is widely recognized for her advocacy on social issues and dedication to youth empowerment—the group demonstrates its willingness to amplify younger perspectives in its initiatives.

Among the other active members of SSFI are television personality Mariel Padilla, wife of Senator Robin Padilla, and Ciara Sotto, daughter of Senate Minority Leader Tito Sotto.

Meanwhile, Frankie’s father, Senator Kiko Pangilinan, has returned to the Senate following his previous terms from 2001 to 2013 and again from 2016 to 2022. With her father back in the legislative body and Frankie now holding a leadership position in the foundation, the Pangilinan family continues to show its commitment to public service and civic engagement.

As Frankie leads the Youth Committee, many are optimistic that her fresh outlook and strong advocacy for young Filipinos will bring new energy and ideas to the Senate Spouses Foundation’s future endeavors.
