Yen Santos No Longer Interested In “Baguio Trip As Friends”

In her new vlog, Yen Santos says no to this trip.

ABS-CBN actress Yen Santos says she’d rather not be part of another “Baguio trip as friends” in her new vlog.

In 2021, the statement of Paolo Contis about going to Baguio as friends with actress Yen Santos became viral. At that time, his relationship with LJ Reyes had just ended, and to see him with his leading lady in a film became controversial. Contis had just broken up with his partner, and to see them together prompted speculation that Santos was a third party in the split.

Explaining things after they were spotted in Baguio, he said, “Naging insensitive ako about the possible effects nung issue, and I invited Yen for a day. She went there as a friend. Hindi ko naisip na madadamay siya ng ganito. I’m sorry for this.”

He has since clarified that she was never the reason for his breakup with Reyes.

Recently, in a new vlog of Santos, she made it clear that she would rather not be caught in another “Baguio trip as friends” scenario after they made headlines in 2021. She expressed, “I’d rather not be part of another Baguio trip like that.”

She, however, stressed, “But if that trip is genuine, I hope you guys are transparent about it, and walang sablay.”

To recall, in September 2021, they were spotted together in Baguio City and at Manaoag Church, and their photos and videos went viral. He was accordingly the one who invited her to Baguio to be with him as he cleared his head while going through the highly-publicized split with LJ.

To recall, Contis and Santos worked together in the Netflix film “A Faraway Land,” and after working together, Contis and Reyes broke up.
