Rhian Ramos stood by her career decision
Kapuso actress Rhian Ramos revealed the reason why she did not think of leaving GMA Network.
Rhian has been in the entertainment industry for almost two decades now. She is one of the homegrown talents of the Kapuso network.
The actress continued to be a Kapuso after all these years, even though there was a time when she thought of quitting showbiz. However, her passion for her craft made her stay.

In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Rhian Ramos was asked about her unwavering loyalty to the GMA network. She turned emotional after she was asked.
This was during the event held for her renewal of contract with her home network. The actress received praise from the network executives who attended the event, such as president and chief executive officer Gilberto Duavit Jr., executive vice president and chief financial officer Felipe Yalong, and officer-in-charge for the Entertainment Group and vice president for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy. Also present were Rhian’s manager, Michael Uycoco, and her “discoverer,” senior vice president for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and president of GMA Films, lawyer Annette Gozon-Valdes.
When she was asked why she remained a Kapuso, the actress said that she was given an opportunity at a young age. As a kid, she admitted that she did not know what she was doing back then, and she had no idea that she was already working.

Rhian was not adept at acting back then, not even at the Filipino language. However, GMA gave her a space, and this changed her life.
“I’ve made so many mistakes. I’ve literally had zero adult experiences that I’m not a Kapuso. As in bata pa lang ako, Kapuso na ako until I grew up,” she said.
With this, it is not much that she is loyal to the network that has been loyal to her as well. Rhian pointed out, GMA did not treat her like a business; that once it was not working well, it would be eliminated.
“It’s not like that. They always treated me like a person and continued to give me opportunity after opportunity. And since they stuck with me when I gave them the worst of me, I’m gonna stick with them while I give them the best of me,” Rhian Ramos said.
