Sabrina M cried foul over this joke of Vice Ganda
Actress Sabrina M called Unkabogable Vice Ganda a “bully” for using her dark past as a joke.
Sabrina was known as one of the sultry stars in the 90s. There was a time in her life what she went through a dark chapter. She was imprisoned for her involvement in prohibited substance.
Fortunately, she was able to surpass that chapter of her life and moved on. However, that past was recalled just recently,. and Sabrina did not like how it was mentioned by Vice Ganda in his concert skit.
Sabrina M shared a post on her Facebook page criticizing Vice Ganda’s joke. Based on the article in PEP, there were netizens who thought that the actress was just riding on the recent issue.
Vice received bashing online for his joke about former President Rodrigo Duterte. Sabrina clarified that what she was pointing out had nothing to do about the “Jetski Holiday” joke.
The actress revealed that the reason for her post was Vice’s joke when he asked Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez who her favorite Gen Z singer is.
Vice: “Sinong favorite mo ba?”
Regine: “Gusto ko si Sabrina.”
Vice: “Sabrina M., yung nakaaway ni Rosanna Roces sa The Buzz dahil sa pustisong ipin? Di ba nakaaway dati si Rosanna? At si Sabrina M. kasi pustiso yung ngipin niya. Yung nahuli?”
Regine: “Hindi.”
Vice: “Sinong Sabrina?
Regine: “Sabrina, yung kapitbahay niyo… may sariling album.”
Vice: “Sabrina Carpenter…”
Sabrina said that she reacted because she felt that she was played with. She said that the comedian couldv’e just excluded the “nahuli.”
“Pati yung nahuli, babanggitin mo pa? Tapos na yun, e. Kahit sinong tao, hangga’t maaari, ayaw nang balikan yung madilim na nakaraan. Kasi ako, nagmu-move on na ako ngayon,” she said, adding that Vice does not need to do that to his fellow celebrity.
She also did not see that point that Vice recalled that dark past that was already erased. Then, Sabrina stressed that Vice would not like it also if the joke is about him or the dark past, like the time when his father was murdered.
“Kasi yun, madilim na nakaraan din niya yon. Matutuwa ba siya kapag ginanoon siya ng kapwa niya?” she said.
Then, Sabrina M accused Vice Ganda of bullying, just because of his status in the entertainment industry, and that this does not give him the right to insult other people.
The actress added that perhaps Vice is bullying others because she also went through bullying when he was young.
“Nambu-bully na rin siya ng kapwa niya. Yung ginagawa niya is another form of bullying. Sorry, ha, pero sa hitsura niya, for sure binu-bully rin siya dati,” Sabrina said. The actress also said that her children got affected by this.
