A lady netizen goes viral online and elicited comments from internet users for her ‘Glass Skin Lumpia’.
Lumpia is a Filipino-style spring roll. It’s made by wrapping a thin pastry wrapper around a filling often ground meat, vegetables, or a mix of both, then rolling it up and frying it until crispy and golden brown.
The most common kind, lumpiang shanghai, uses ground pork, carrots, onions, and seasonings, served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce or banana ketchup. It’s a staple in Filipino gatherings and parties.

Recently, Lorelin Feliciano Sia, a Facebook user from Malabon City shared photos of her perfectly smooth and golden-brown lumpiang shanghai. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the photo, Sia, showed neatly arranged spring rolls that looked so flawless, many joked they were smoother than human skin. Social media users flooded the post with praises, calling them “perfect lumpia” and admiring the effort behind their preparation.
Lorelin, however, humbly said her lumpia were far from perfect. For her, it was not about achieving a flawless appearance, but about preparing food with care for her family. She shared that she simply wanted to make sure her dishes were clean and well-prepared, adding that all the meals she cooks are made with love.

The viral photos, now with over 3,200 shares, were taken in the middle of her cooking session. According to Lorelin, she decided to snap pictures of the second batch because her family had already eaten the first ones as soon as they came out of the pan.
Many netizens related to the photo, saying it’s common for freshly cooked lumpia to disappear quickly from the table. Others expressed their admiration for her dedication, noting that the smooth and even texture of the lumpia showed the level of care she put into making them.
