Vice Ganda received negative reactions from supporters of PRRD
A supporter of former President Rodrigo Duterte wanted Unkabogable Vice Ganda to be declared persona non grata in Davao City.
PRRD came from Davao City. His political career is also well-known in other provinces in Mindanao. Duterte’s children eventually followed in his footsteps in the political arena.
In 2022, his daughter became Vice President Sara Duterte. Currently, his sons Paolo Duterte is serving as the representative of Davao City’s 1st district since 2019, while Baste Duterte is the acting mayor of Davao City.

The former President decided to run for Mayor of Davao City, and he won even though he was detained by the International Criminal Court for his controversial drug war. Even though he has been in The Hague for several months now, his fervent supporters continue to rally behind him.
Just recently, “DDS” or Diehard Duterte Supporters cried foul against what Vice Ganda said during his skit in his recent concert with Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Vice did a parody of the viral social media trend “Jet 2 Holidays.” He had his version called “Jet Ski promise. “Nothing beats a jet ski holiday! Ride now from Manila to the West Philippine Sea by jet ski. Get unlimited water bombing from Chinese vessels and free trip to the Hague by the ICC. Promo applies to DDS only; pinklawan and BBMs are prohibited. ‘Wag niyo kong subukan, mga put*ng ina niyo!” the Kapamilya comedian-host said.

Because of this, British citizen Malcolm Conlan, a social media personality with a Pinay wife and a supporter of PRRD, wrote an open letter for the Unkabogable Star. Malcolm slammed Vice’s skit because, for him, it was inappropriate and done in poor taste.
Supporters of the former President attacked the Kapamilya comedian-host. Facebook page Proud Bisaya even asked the government of Davao City to declare Vice “persona non grata.”
“As a Davaoeño, I am appealing to the City Government of Davao to declare Vice Ganda a persona non grata in Davao City,” the netizen wrote.

In the comment section of the post, netizens who are also supporters of PRRD echoed the social media page’s request. A netizen even said that this should be done in all Cebuano-speaking regions. Here are some comments.
