Kyle Echarri didn’t feel any awkwardness in sharing the same frame with Bela Padilla
Kapamilya actor Kyle Echarri talked about working with multi-hyphenate Bela Padilla in the movie 100 Awit Para Kay Stella.
Kyli has done various acting projects after his stint on The Voice Kids in 2015. His singing career took a backseat as he was given various roles in Kapamilya series and movies.
For the sequel of 100 Tula Para Kay Stella, Kyle was chosen to portray the role of the second male lead. In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, he talked about his experience working with the main characters.

The first movie was released in 2017, and the sequel will show the dynamic between the lead characters, who met once again after 15 years.
Kyle Echarri shared that it helped that he already did a project with JC Santos in the past. Because of this, they already had a connection. The actor also shared that he and Bela Padilla are close, and even though they were both in the series Pamilya Sagrado, they never had a scene together.
Kyle’s character in 100 Awit Para Kay Stell is Clyde, who falls in love with the character of Bela. The actor said that he did not feel awkward doing scenes with the actress-director.
His character, a rising star, will meet Stella at an event, in which he sings the song about a “girl with black lipstick.” Bela’s character will get curious about who wrote the song, and she will find out that it was Fidel.

“Never namin naging awkward kasi at the end of the day we’re professionals, we’re actors, parte po ng trabaho namin,” Kyle said.
He also said that he has always been comfortable with Bela because she is a good friend of his. The actor added, “I never had any problems in terms of comfortability with each other and everyone especially on set, three of us para kaming nag-jive talaga.”
