Authorities Arrest Popular Vlogger “Thailand Girl” Over Online Libel Case
The popular vlogger known as “Thailand Girl” was arrested in Koronadal City over an online libel case filed against her.
On the morning of August 8, 2025, a well-known vlogger, Jeren Jude Bacas Nebit, more popularly known online as “Thailand Girl” (TG), was arrested along with another individual after authorities served a warrant of arrest in Koronadal City
According to Koronadal Police Station chief PLtCol Peter Pinalgan, the 28-year-old resident was apprehended at Southwind Subdivision in Barangay Morales, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. The operation was a coordinated effort between the Koronadal City Police Station, San Pedro Police Station in Davao City, and the Regional Anti-Cybercrime Unit 12.

The warrant of arrest was linked to a pending case of online libel filed by Hon. Clarissa M. Superable-Develos, the presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 52 in Davao City.
The case was filed on May 20, 2025, and had since remained active until authorities tracked down the accused.
Police confirmed that the arrest was carried out in compliance with legal procedures. The suspect was informed of her constitutional rights before being taken into custody. At present, she remains detained at the Koronadal City Police Station while awaiting a commitment order from the court that issued the warrant.

The arrest of TG drew attention online, as she is known for her humorous and often controversial content on social media.
