Paolo Contis had this thank you message for John Cabahug
Actor Paolo Contis shared a post appreciating what basketball player John Cabahug did for him.
John is the current partner of Paolo’s ex-wife, Lian Paz. It is known to many showbiz fans that when Paolo and Lian separated, the latter raised their two daughters. John stood as a father figure for Xonia and Xalene.
It has been 13 years since Paolo and Lian separated. The former dancer was living in Cebu with John and their kids.
In a Facebook post on August 7, Paolo Contis shared a series of photos with his daughters, Lian Paz and John Cabahug.
It was the actor’s birthday post for the basketball player, as well as his message of gratitude for the man who stood by his kids’ side.
“Happy Birthday John! I want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing Lian and my kids nung araw na to. Oo, hinintay ko talaga ang birthday mo to publicly express my gratitude to you,” Paolo said.
The actor also has a message for his estranged wife. He said that Lian has always been kind and forgiving. “This is why hindi kayo pinabayaan ni Lord. I appreciate all your efforts in talking to John about that day,” he said.
Paolo also thanked his former partner for being strong and for nurturing their kids to have beautiful hearts.
The actor added that he is truly grateful to John for having this kind of chance. Then, Paolo expressed a promise that he would have constant communication with all of them.
He said that he will not waste this chance. “Thank you for taking care of the kids. Please know that I am always here para sa inyong lahat. To more precious days like this. Happy Birthday John! Thank you for the friendship!” Paolo expressed.
