On August 6, Barretto shared a series of video clips on her Instagram account, documenting her visit to the fire-stricken community. The area had been devastated by a third-alarm fire just days prior. In the videos, the actress could be seen distributing bags of rice and meals from a well-known fast-food chain to families who lost their homes in the blaze.
Claudine Barretto was not alone in her mission. She was assisted by local barangay officials, including her close friend Mac Mac Ching, in ensuring the relief goods reached the victims. The actress warmly interacted with the residents, taking time to greet them with smiles, pose for selfies, and offer comforting words. One particularly heartfelt moment captured her doing the traditional “pagmamano” gesture to the elderly—a Filipino custom that signifies deep respect for elders. This act resonated with viewers, many of whom praised her humility and sincerity.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, the blaze lasted for approximately three hours and left about 200 people homeless. Property damage was pegged at around ₱100,000. Thankfully, no casualties or injuries were reported.

She recently revealed that she had sought assistance from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) after allegedly receiving threats connected to her ongoing feud with her siblings, Mito and Marjorie Barretto.
