Here’s how Willie Revillame reacted to the rumors.
Game show host Willie Revillame has this reaction when asked about “naghihirap” rumors and the blind item about his resort.
Is Willie Revillame getting poor? Is he selling his resort in Puerto Galera? A blind item previously made the rounds involving a celebrity-politician who allegedly put his Puerto Galera resort up for sale after his election loss, which reportedly took a toll on his finances.

Revillame is aware of the blind item and is certain that he was the one being referred to in the content. He’s been dragged to this kind of fake news online several times, and recently, he finally broke his silence to stop the confusion among the public.
He vehemently denied that he is financially struggling due to the election loss, and he is also not selling his beach resort in Puerto Galera.
To prove his claims, he just had a meeting with Kenneth Cobonpue, an internationally acclaimed and multi-awarded furniture designer, regarding his event place at Puerto Galera.
He also expressed confusion over why people are making a big deal out of his Quezon City home, which has actually been up for sale for quite some time. The property, previously owned by ABS-CBN executive Gabby Lopez, was simply too large for his needs, prompting him to let it go.
To prove that he is not financially struggling, he accordingly just bought a yacht worth US$12 million. He also just purchased the 49th floor and penthouse of a posh condominium building in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. A Tesla Beast is his newest acquired vehicle.
He mentioned other properties and investments he owns to prove that he is not living in a difficult condition.
Meanwhile, Revillame failed in his senatorial bid in the 2025 midterm polls. He ran as an independent candidate with a platform focused on creating laws for the benefit of the poor, earning more than 8.5 million votes and securing the 22nd spot in the race. Following this outcome, he now plans to make his return to TV5.
This will happen before the year ends, and His show Wowowin is making a comeback—no longer titled Wil To Win—and it will air back-to-back with another program he’s hosting on the same network called Wilyonaryo.
