James Reid Shares Thoughts on Nadine Lustre & Their Public Reunions
JAMES REID – Actor James Reid recently shared his honest thoughts about running into his ex-girlfriend and former love team partner Nadine Lustre at public events.
James Reid recently opened up about his past relationship with Nadine Lustre and their time as one of Philippine showbiz’s most iconic love teams, known to fans as JaDine. In a heartfelt interview with journalist Karen Davila, James reflected on their on-screen and off-screen journey, expressing nothing but gratitude for what they shared.

Karen acknowledged the impact of their partnership, saying, “When you look back at the JaDine phenomenon, it is the model for many love teams,” prompting James to look back on the experience.
“Yeah, it was… like you said, a phenomenon. It kind of reached a climax, it was definitely something special, even globally? I don’t think there’s a phenomenon like this? It gave me so much and I’m so grateful to the fans, to Nadine, to the love team, and to everyone who gave us projects,” James responded with genuine appreciation.
When asked whether he and Nadine still greet each other when crossing paths in public, James responded with honesty and maturity. Karen had asked, “Have you and Nadine ever seen each other in public? Do you say, ‘Hi, there?’ May ganun ba?” to which James replied: “Yeah, yes, at some events. I’ve seen her a few times, and we’re civil, there’s no problem certainly with me. You know, I wish her all the best. She seems very happy.”
His remarks reflected a healthy post-relationship dynamic, highlighting mutual respect and a sense of closure between the former couple. Although their romantic relationship ended years ago, the two have continued to flourish in their respective careers and personal lives.
