Epi Quizon reveals that Dolphy still provides for them.
This is how, even 13 years after his passing, the King of Comedy, Dolphy, continues to provide for his 20 children, according to Epi Quizon.
King of Comedy, Dolphy, made sure that his legacy continues for his children. With a successful career that spanned decades, he was able to leave so much for his 20 children that even after 13 years since he died, they are still receiving “allowance” from him.

Through the businesses he was able to establish when he was still alive, from a bakery franchise, a whiskey brand, a realty business in Calatagan, Batangas, and many others. These businesses allowed him to still provide for his children through a well-planned financial arrangement.
In an interview, Epi Quizon clarified that they are not ultra-rich or billionaires because of their business. The real setup is that they are not wealthy, but only have enough. They might have businesses, but there are 20 of them sharing from these. Even the deceased children still receive royalties.
“Pero royalty po yan. “Sabi ko nga, ‘It’s enough yung mga pumapasok sa amin. It’s enough to call allowance from my dad.’ So hanggang ngayon, ako lang ang simula’t sapul pinanganak ako—55 years, mag-52 na po ako, e, nagbibigay pa rin ng allowance ang aking ama,” he shared.
Apart from his father’s legacy, he also expressed his appreciation for his brother, Eric Quizon, for pushing boundaries on expanding the franchising of Pidol’s Bakeshop. For their realty business, they were able to have a joint venture, and they also partnered with other people in their whiskey business.
Everyone has a share, and it was designed in a way that everyone, even his father’s great-grandchildren, will benefit from it.
To recall, Dolphy died in 2012. He remains one of the most iconic figures in Philippine entertainment, especially in comedy, and his legacy in the Philippine show business industry will live on forever.
