Car Owner Not Helped as People Prioritized Filming Over Assisting
A car owner was left helpless as the bystanders allegedly ignored him and prioritized filming over assisting.
Recently, micko juuichi, a car owner, has expressed his frustration as he was left begging for help only to be ignored by the crowd around him after his car caught fire. The post elicited various reactions from the online community.
The incident happened on July 31, 2025, along Zapote Road, right across a busy jeepney terminal bound for Alabang and Baclaran. According to the car owner, people around the scene didn’t offer any assistance as his vehicle burned. Instead, many pulled out their phones and started recording the fire.

As flames engulfed the car, the owner reportedly ran around asking for help, hoping someone might have water, a fire extinguisher, or at least call authorities. But instead of rushing to assist, the crowd simply watched and continued filming the distressing scene.
“Car ko po ‘yan wala man lang tumulong to extinguish the fire all of them holding their phone filming my car burned. Nagmamakaawa ako sa kanila help me pero walang tumulong,” he said.
The video showed the vehicle in flames while several bystanders stood nearby, some capturing the moment on their phones. The incident left many netizens frustrated, with some questioning why no one stepped up to help when it was clearly an emergency.
