Pet Owner Frustrated After Her Cat Allegedly Forgot Her Following 2-Week Disappearance
A pet owner expressed her sadness after her pet cat allegedly forgot her following two-week disappearance.
Recently, Jhennie Lyn, a Facebook user, shared her heartbreaking experience after being reunited with her beloved cat who had been missing for two weeks, only to feel as if her pet no longer recognized her.
The fur mommy posted about her emotional encounter with her cat who accidentally escaped from their home. After tirelessly searching for two weeks, she finally found her furry companion roaming outside. However, the cat appeared distant and hesitant around her.

Jhennie explained that despite regularly leaving food and waiting for the cat to come out, the pet remained aloof and wary. When she finally managed to get close and carry the cat, it struggled and scratched her before escaping once again.
The incident left her in tears, not from the scratch, but from the sadness of feeling forgotten.
The pet owner couldn’t help but to question why her pet cat no longer recognize her. Despite treating the cat like her own child, the cold response left her full of doubts and sorrow.
