Nadine Lustre Shares Thoughts About “Mirror Method”

Here’s what Nadine Lustre said about mirroring what people give you.

In a social media post, actress Nadine Lustre shares her thoughts about the “mirror method” after reading this fake news about her.

One popular concept about self-love circulating online is the “mirror method.” It’s based on the idea that how others treat you is reflected in how you treat them. A Facebook page recently cited Nadine Lustre as someone who practices this method, but this claim is false and should be considered fake news.

In a previous article, Nadine denied the post and quipped, “parang di ko naman po sinabi yan…”

After clarifying this, she shared a follow-up post regarding the idea and lamented how, at some point, this mirror method could cause negativity to someone’s life. She clarified her stance, saying she doesn’t believe in repaying coldness with coldness.

“Para sa akin, hindi mo kailangang suklian ang kakulangan ng iba. Mas mahalaga pa rin na piliin mong maging mabuti, kahit walang kapalit. Because kindness isn’t for them, it’s for YOUR soul,” she wrote.

According to her, the negativity you project will eventually return to you, while kindness and understanding are among the things that positively nourish your soul. Letting go of someone and choosing to disconnect is always valid, but it’s best done in a manner that leaves you unburdened as you walk away.

As per her words, it is always best to wish someone well, despite them hurting you. It is “the quiet, steady peace of knowing you’ve already forgiven them,” even if it was not asked, that gives someone freedom, not resentment.

She ended her post by reminding people to always keep choosing light and love, as this is where real healing thrives.
