Couple Stephan Estopia and Kiray Celis are tying the knot soon. To recall, Stephan and Kiray got engaged this year, and both of their families were there to witness the beautiful moment that happened by the beach.
The engagement happened a little over five years after they became a couple. Months after their engagement, they shared something about their ongoing wedding preparations without revealing their wedding date yet.
As they went on with their preparations, she realized that it was not an easy task. Things have become more overwhelming now as they are only counting months until the big day.
“Hindi ako nainform, akala ko madaling ikasal. Akala ko madaling mag-plano. Ang hirap grabe,” Kiray said in an interview. She admitted that she is very hands-on with the wedding preparations and quipped that she is “aligaga.”
“‘Yung invitation, sapatos ng mga pupunta, syempre gusto mo perfect. And siyempre ‘yung singer. Andaming kailangang asikasuhin, ewan ko ba! Food tasting, wine tasting, andaming ganon,” she expressed and added that even little details need much attention.
She took the reins in handling details, as her partner also trusts her choices. What she was also surprised by was the wedding cost and expenses. When it comes to financial matters, they share everything equally.
For now, her gown is ready, and their entourage is finally complete. They are preparing for an intimate wedding, and strictly, there will be no guests outside their family. She explained regarding her showbiz friends, “Hindi sila guests, entourage sila ‘matic kasi nga wala talaga akong guests. Sobrang sakit na ng ulo ko kung paano ko sila pagkakasyahin.”
