Vlogger Offers to Take Place for Baste Duterte in Boxing Match vs PNP Chief Torre
A male vlogger has volunteered to step in for Baste Duterte in boxing match against PNP Chief Torre III.
Recently, political vlogger Darwin Salceda, popularly known as “Boss Dada,” has offered to take the place of Davao City Vice Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte in a planned boxing match against Philippine National Police Chief General Nicolas Torre III.
Boss Dada called out General Torre and volunteered to be Duterte’s substitute in the ring. He expressed readiness to face the police chief, saying it would be a way to support his friend, the vice mayor.

“General, where na you, ready na me! Substitute Pareng Baste!” Salceda said.
General Torre has not responded to the vlogger’s challenge.
Over the past few days, the boxing match between Duterte and Torre became the talk of the town after Torre agreed to the fight, provided it would be for charity and held at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

But the bout became uncertain after Duterte put forward a surprising condition, he said he would only join the match if Torre could convince President Bongbong Marcos and all elected officials to take a hair follicle drug test.
“If you’re really serious about this… Then let me lay my own conditions. Pakiusapan mo ‘yang amo mo na Presidente, and let it come out of his mouth that all elected officials should undergo a hair follicle test,” Duterte said.
Duterte’s demand stirred different reactions. While some people viewed it as a strong political statement, others suspected it was a way to back out of the fight.
Boss Dada’s entry added a humorous twist to the issue, with many netizens reacting to his post. Though the idea of a substitute fighter isn’t new, the public is still waiting to see if Torre will acknowledge the vlogger’s offer or if the original match will push through at all.
