Here’s an update about Emong PH, which is still in the Tropical Storm category.
EMONG PH UPDATE – PAGASA releases an update about Emong PH and the tropical cyclone wind signals that are currently in effect.
Tropical Storm Emong is one of the two low pressure areas (LPAs) being observed in the past few days, which has also developed into the said category. Based on the update from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), it has slightly intensified.

Emong moves southwestward at 15 km/h over the West Philippine Sea, with its center at 235 km West of Sinait, Ilocos Sur (17.5°N, 118.3°E). It has maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 105 km/h, and a central pressure of 990 hPa.
Tropical cyclone wind signals are currently in effect.
