After three years of being together, Klea Pineda and Katrice Kierulf broke up, and this is the reason behind it.
In the “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” Friday episode, Klea Pineda has confirmed that she and Katrice Kierulf have broken up. She was directly asked by Boy Abunda about their current status and she gave an honest and direct answer.
“Yes, Tito Boy, yes po. May mga kaniya-kaniya kaming priorities. Mutual decision ‘yung nangyari, mutual ‘yung breakup namin and umabot na kami sa point na gusto niya unahin ‘yung sarili niya. Gusto ko rin naman unahin ‘yung sarili ko this time, piliiin ‘yung sarili ko this time,” she said.
According to her, the split was a mutual decision. To recall, it was in 2023 when Klea revealed that she is a member of the LGBTQ community. Prior to the interview, their followers noticed that they had unfollowed each other on social media.
They broke up in June, which makes the split still fresh, and as per her words, they wanted to pursue personal growth and self-love. They can’t seem to achieve this as, instead of lifting each other, they tend to pull each other down, and for them, this is not how it should be.
They fought hard before they gave up.
In an emotional Instagram post, Pineda wrote a parting message for Kat, and in the three years they spent together, she had zero regrets. She was happy that she happened in her life, especially during the times when she couldn’t love herself; Kat was there to love her.
They have gone through so much in life together, and she wants to forget none of it, as she was nothing but happy during those times with her. Klea even added that she can consider herself lucky for having her, or unfortunate, as something beautiful as what they have had to end.
She ended her post, “Salamat sa pagmamahal na binigay mo sa akin, Kat. Lagi mong tatandaan na kahit anong mangyari, hindi mawawala pagmamahal ko sayo.”
