Klea Pineda Reveals She's A Proud Member Of The LGBTQIA+ Community

StarStruck Season 6 Ultimate Female Survivor Klea Pineda revealed that she is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community through her birthday post on Instagram.

In recent years, prominent personalities, especially in the entertainment industry are finding the courage to reveal their real identity and preference. Decades ago, it is not as acceptable to openly admit that a person is gay.

Apparently, this was not easy also for Klea. In her Instagram post, the Kapuso actress said that as she celebrated her 24th birthday, she finally found the courage to reveal her true self.

“Masasabi ko na ito na ang pinakamatapang na desisyon na nagawa ko sa buong buhay ko. I want the world to know that I am a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community,” she wrote in the caption of her post.

Klea Pineda said that she understands that not all people will not accept her decision but what is important to her is what makes her happy and revealing her real identity is part of the things that give her happiness.

She is also hoping that through her coming out, those who are in the same situation as her will get inspired to come to terms with their gender preference.

“Alam ko mahirap at nakakatakot, but please know na walang mali sa atin at walang kulang sa atin kahit pa magpakatotoo tayo,” the actress added. She is also optimistic that even though there are critics, there are still a lot who will accept and understand their predicaments.

Klea also stressed that this is just one aspect of her life and this will not hinder her in pursuing her dreams. “I am still the same Klea that you loved and supported throughout the years. The only difference now is I can proudly say that I’m gay!” she said.

This revelation that Klea Pineda made received support from her fans and fellow celebrities.
