Many years ago, a fairy tale sadly ended a few years after their wedding. It was sad and tragic, especially for Ruffra Gutierrez. It wasn’t a secret what she suffered while she was married to Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas.
They met on May 11, 2000, in Cannes, France, and there was an instant connection. The Turkish businessman was so determined to pursue Ruffa, and he was persistent. These were just some of the ways he did to get her. Their love crossed the world, and on March 25, 2003, they tied the knot.
A few years later, with confessions of physical abuse, they separated. Their two daughters, Lorin and Venice, stayed with Ruffa, and many years after their separation, the wounds healed. Ruffa forgave him, they got reunited, and he was also able to finally be with their daughter.
They became friends, and last April, Ruffa shared that Yilmaz was coming to the Philippines in May.
In a previous article, Ruffa revealed he wanted to marry her again. She refused and maintained their newfound friendship. Recently, people online spotted their exchange in the comments, and the interaction caught a lot of attention.
The Turkish businessman shared some of his new photos where he looked good, and in the comments, the actress-beauty queen left three fire emojis. He saw it and in a reply, he wrote, “Why are you still following my pictures? Thank you for liking it.”
Meanwhile, Bektas was also seen several times commenting on beautiful photos of his ex-wife on Instagram. This only happened after they were able to iron out their issues and decided to become friends.
