Liza Marcos Alleged Involvement In Paolo Tantoco’s Death Denied By Palace

Here’s what the Palace said after Liza Marcos was tied to the death of Paolo Tantoco.

First Lady Liza Marcos was tied to the controversial death of Paolo Tantoco, and the Palace has released a statement regarding the matter.

Previously, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner in the United States ruled that Filipino businessman Juan Paolo Tantoco passed away due to the effects of an illegal substance. What contributed to the death was an underlying heart disease. \

The report was released four months after Tantoco died. His death was classified as accidental, with the effect of the illegal substance as the primary cause and “probable atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease,” which was listed as a significant condition.

In a previous article, First Lady Liza Marcos was allegedly mentioned in the investigation document regarding the businessman’s death. This allegation about the first lady tied to Tantoco’s death surfaced online, as, according to the rumors, she was with him when he died.

A portion of the document states: Companions of the victim were summoned to BHPD for questioning, which were Dinah Arroyo Tantoco, Liza Araneta Marcos, and Alexa Miro.

The Palace has addressed the rumors and denied the First Lady’s involvement in the case. Palace Press Officer Claire Castro revealed that the document noted as released by the Beverly Hills Police Department has been tampered with, which made the First Lady, Palace Deputy Social Secretary Dina Tantoco, and actress Alexa Miro identified as “companions of the victim.”

“Ang sinasabing police report na nai-post sa Facebook ay isang malaking kasinungalingan,” the Palace official said, who also expressed how sad it is that obstructionists use this unfortunate event of private people to destroy the First Lady, the President, and the administration.

Castro also explained that Tantoco was not part of the official entourage of Liza. At the time of his death, she was accordingly at a formal event.

“Tandaan, ang unang ginang po, noong sya ay nasa LA ay meron po siyang security service na pinrovide ng US, meron din syang PSG. Hindi rin sya nag-stay sa nasabing hotel ni Mr. Tantoco. Iba po ang kanyang hotel. At meron syang mga activities March 8,” she said.
