BINI tries Filipino snacks

Recently, they appeared in one of the vlogs of People Vs Food, a YouTube channel with over 12 million subscribers. They were made to eat and try different local snacks that usually hit a spot in them.

They tried mixed nuts, kwek-kwek, hopiang baboy, chocolate bar nuts, isaw, yema, balut, betamax, mamon, turon, and taho.

Filipinos who have watched this episode have various comments after seeing the different reactions they made in the video. Some liked Aiah for being honest and the most natural among them, while others did not like how the other members reacted disgustingly, and some of them even refused to eat a few.

They particularly called out Sheena and Gwen. Before their stardom, they were former teen housemates, and a lot of viewers recalled how much they loved to eat anything while inside the Pinoy Big Brother. Gwen, specifically, even had an issue with the other housemates before for having big food portions without considering the other housemates.

Some commenters even felt awkward and wondered why some of them reacted differently when they had already eaten most of these local snacks. They surely know what these snacks tasted like.

On the other hand, many believed that people have different taste buds and one taste does not fit all. Love for food is subjective. Each person enjoys food differently, based on their own tastes, background, and preferences.
