Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Speaks on Conversation of Dad Rodrigo Duterte w/ his 12-Year-Old Grandson
RODRIGO DUTERTE – The former President told his 12-year-old grandson that not everyone who is detained is a bad person.
The Duterte family members are taking turns in visiting former Pres. Duterte who is currently detained in The Hague, Netherlands. He is faced with an accusation of crimes against humanity before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for his administration’s war on drugs.

Elizabeth Zimmerman, the ex-wife of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, recently claimed that he has become so thin to the extent of “skin and bones”. Vice Pres. Sara Duterte confirmed the statement of her mother and Davao Congressman Paolo Duterte also had the same statement about their father.
According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, the former President loss his appetite to food. She stressed that it is probably because of everything that has happened. Elizabeth Zimmerman also claimed that the former President said he does not like the foods served inside the ICC detention facility.

When asked if the former President is cooked and served Filipino foods inside the ICC detention facility, his ex-wife answered in the negative. While the slim physique of Duterte sparks concerns among his supporters, the Vice President claimed that she prefers the slim physique of her father.

According to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, the public may have yet to see former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte as thin as he is now but she likes it compared to his previous physique with a huge belly. She stressed that his huge belly looks very unhealthy for his heart.
Recently, the Vice President visited former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte inside the ICC detention facility with her 12-year-old son. Based on a report on PhilStar, the Vice President shared the message of her father to his grandson.

“He said, ‘not all people in detention are bad… I am here because I did things for my country. And I do not regret going after criminals and going after people dealing in illegal drugs for my country,’” the Vice President said referring to her father’s conversation with his grandson.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is detained in The Hague for more than 100 days now. Following his arrest last March 11, he maintained that everything he did during his term as president was for the Filipino people and for the country.
The former President is currently 80 years old. It was already inside the ICC detention facility last March 28 when he celebrated his 80th birthday. There are a lot of concerns for him citing his health and his old age.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte recently claimed that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte said he wants cremation if he dies during his ICC detention in The Hague, Netherlands.
