Delivery Driver at Large After Running Off w/ P27,000 Worth of Frozen Meat Products

A delivery driver is now being sought by authorities after allegedly taking off with P27,000 worth of frozen meat products.

On Wednesday evening (July 9, 2025), a delivery driver reportedly runs off with frozen products that were supposed to be delivered to an online meat seller.

According to the victim, she had already paid 300 kilos of frozen meat from a supplier in Bulacan. She then booked a delivery driver to pick up the items and bring them to her in Caloocan.

After sending the pick-up details to the supplier, the items were collected by the driver at around 7:21 p.m. But hours passed, and by 11 p.m., the meat seller noticed that the delivery still hadn’t arrived.

After a few moments, the driver called her, saying he couldn’t leave because he didn’t have gas. Feeling desperate, the seller asked how much the delivery fee was and agreed to pay it in advance. She sent P350 to help him continue the trip.

However, the driver later asked for more money. When the seller checked the booking details, she was shocked to see that the delivery had been marked as completed and the items had already dropped off in Pasay.

The seller, who relies on her small business to make a living, said it was heartbreaking to be tricked like this. She said she felt helpless, especially after having to explain to her own customers that there would be no meat to sell.

With the help of the supplier, they were able to identify the driver using the ID he presented. CCTV footage also showed him picking up the meat using a car.

The incident has already been reported to the police, and the seller is now planning to file a legal case against the driver.
