Actor-singer Wilbert Ross laughed at this hilarious rumor that had once emerged involving him and an international singer.
During a contract renewal event under the Viva Artists Agency (VAA) on July 8, actor-singer Wilbert Ross shared that one of the most hilarious rumors he heard about himself was having a one-night-stand with an international male singer.
This rumor accordingly surfaced “way, way back,” and his name was just suddenly brought up. His name just came out of nowhere, booked by this international male singer, and recalling it now, he could just laugh at it.
He said, “Isa sa pinaka-funny, biglang na-brought up yung pangalan ko out of nowhere sa isyung isa sa mga sikat na international singer, na-book daw ako ng one night, way way back.”
He saw and read different stories and versions on various social media platforms, and he can remember asking where they came from and the references. But because it wasn’t true, he decided not to give it any attention. It was just hilarious.
“Dedma lang po. Wala naman any connection at all so parang dedma lang. Pero nakakatawa lang siya,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ross has renewed his contract with the VAA. He is grateful for the opportunity from his home studio and for their trust in his talent. According to him, being with Viva, he was also able to discover his other talents and explore what more he can do.
The agency made it possible for him to become a comedian and leading man, roles he never thought he was capable of portraying. They saw his potential and made sure to sharpen it with the right project.
It was a blessing in disguise for him that Viva found him just in time when he had no direction after his stint with It’s Showtime ended.
