Atong Ang To File Charges After Whistleblower Tagged Him In Missing Sabungeros Case

After being mentioned, Atong Ang is to file charges against the whistleblower.

Atong Ang was tagged as the mastermind in the abductions of the missing sabungeros, and will take legal action against the whistleblower

Alias “Totoy,” the whistleblower in the case of the missing sabungeros or cockfight enthusiasts, revealed previously some names involved in the case. It has been years since their mysterious disappearance, and according to the whistleblower, these people were all dead and buried in Taal Lake.

Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla reacted and said that the authorities will be tapping technical divers to look for them.

In a previous article, Gretchen Barretto was linked to the case after Totoy revealed that a female celebrity was among the ‘alpha’ members in the case. He revealed these details and more in the affidavit he is yet to submit.

Recently, he named several personalities and tagged businessman Atong Ang as the mastermind of the abduction. Julie “Dondon” Patidongan, the whistleblower, said, “Si Mr. Atong Ang siya ang chairman ng pitmaster, siya ang pinaka mastermind at siya ang nag uutos na iligpit ang mga ‘yan.”

After being tagged, Ang is set to file a formal complaint against whistleblowers based on his statement. These whistleblowers are Julie “Dondon” Patidongan, alias “Totoy,” and Alan Bantiles, alias “Brown.”

The statement alleges that they “conspired to commit attempted robbery with violence and intimidation, grave threat, grave coercion, incriminating against innocent persons and slander” against Ang.

Their claims have tarnished his dignity and reputation, which has caused anxiety and stress to his family. Ang’s camp “categorically and unequivocally” denied the accusations that are “entirely false, baseless, and malicious.”

They also appealed to the people and the media to “respectfully urge everyone to refrain from spreading misinformation or drawing conclusions without evidence.”
