Vehicle Owner Finds Python Snake Inside Car Engine in Tagum City
A python snake was found inside a car engine at a smoke emission testing center in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

Recently, a car owner discovered a python snake inside the engine of his vehicle. The incident garnered various reactions from the online community.
According to reports, the car owner brought the vehicle to the testing center after it had been unused for quite some time. When the staff opened the car’s hood to begin the inspection, they were shocked to see a large python curled up inside the engine compartment.
The car owner explained that the vehicle had been parked near a creek and had not been driven for a long time. This may have provided the perfect hiding spot for the snake, especially with recent changes in weather and the loss of its natural habitat.
Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident. The python was safely removed and later turned over to the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) in Tagum. According to CENRO, the snake may have entered the vehicle in search of warmth or protection from the changing environment.
The agency reminded the public to check vehicles that have been parked for long periods, especially if they are near natural areas like rivers, forests, or streams. Snakes and other animals may take shelter in these unused vehicles without noticing.
The incident reminds the public that regular vehicle checks can help avoid surprises and ensure safety for both people and animals.
