Ogie Diaz talked about these aspiring singers
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz reacted to the music careers of aspiring singers Fyang Smith and Chloe San Jose.
Fyang rose to fame after being hailed as Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11’s big winner. Just recently, she had her album launch, “Forever Fyang.” In the said event, Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez was her guest.
After performing, Regine shared her advice with Fyang. The OPM icon told the aspiring singer should remember that singing is a skill and that it can be learned. Regine highlighted the importance of feeling everything she does from the heart because it can be reflected to the fans.
That milestone in Fyang Smith’s career was celebrated by her fans. However, she received negative reactions from fans of Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo because she was called the “next popstar.” Fyang also sang one of Sarah’s hit songs titled Kilometro.
Aside from Fyang, Chloe San Jose also launched her music career. Chloe was first known as a social media personality. She is the girlfriend of two-time Olympic gold medalist gymnast Carlos Yulo. Chloe went controversial as she was accused of being the reason behind Carlos and his family’s conflict.
Ogie Diaz shared his thoughts on this on his YouTube showbiz talk show Showbiz Update. He said that he does not want to think about Fyang and Chloe because he already has a lot of problems to think.
Then, he said that people should just let Fyang and Chloe entertain their fans and make their supporters happy with their music
“Mas magandang unawain mo na lang sila kung bakit nila ginawa ‘yon, kasi nga, happy sila; kasi nga marami silang fans na napapasaya,” he said.
As a talent manager, Ogie also said that if his “alaga” can make fans happy by singing, then he will let them. “In one condition, you need to study hard. You need to take voice lessons very seriously,” Ogie Diaz added.
