Comedy icon Michael V revealed that among his fellow Bubble Gang stars, comedienne Ruffa Mae Quinto is the most “pasaway.”
Michael, also known as Bitoy, has been in the industry for many years and has worked with a lot of celebrities. He is one of the pioneer cast members of the longest-running gag show, Bubble Gang. The show has featured a lot of cast members, then and now.
In a recent interview on the Your Honor podcast hosted by Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar, Bitoy talked about his journey in the entertainment industry.
During the interview, Michael V was asked who among his “ka-Bubble” is the most “pasaway.” The seasoned comedian said that it was Ruffa Mae Quinto, also known as Peachy.
This made Chariz laugh. “Pasaway si Peachy, oo, ang kulit niyan,” Bitoy shared. He explained that Ruffa Mae’s attention can shift easily. However, the seasoned comedian said that even though Ruffa Mae can easily be distracted, when the director says “action,” she can deliver her lines and perform her scene.
Bitoy also shared that when smartphones became a thing, Rufa Mae was being scolded for using her phone during taping.
On the other hand, Michael V stressed that Rufa Mae Quinto is very professional when it comes to doing her job. The seasoned comedian also said that the comedienne is “mabait at magaling.”
Then, Chariz recalled that Rufa Mae really loved to “apir” or do the high-five gesture. Bitoy recalled a funny story about this. He also impersonated Peachy’s famous line, “Go, go, go!”
