Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde chose not to show their baby’s face to the public
Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo shared why he and his wife, actress Ria Atayde, do not want to show the face of their baby to the public.
It is common for many celebrity couples to share personal things in their lives, including their families and the things they do behind the camera. However, from the time Ria got pregnant until she gave birth, she and Zanjoe were not that indulgent in sharing about this side of their lives.
With this, some people, especially showbiz fans, would ask why Zanjoe and Ria were very secretive about their baby, Sabino. The couple has consciously kept their baby’s face from the public’s eyes.
In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz, Zanjoe Marudo was asked about this.
The actor explained that aside from the fact that their baby can get nothing from this, he knows how social media can be toxic.
“Baby pa naman ‘yan, e. Ano bang mapapala niya sa social media? Parang wala pa rin naman siyang muwang,” the actor shared. He added that there are things that could happen, and they are prioritizing the safety of their baby.
However, he clarified that they are not hiding their baby. They allow people to see their child when they go to the mall.
“Kapag may kaibigan akong nakita o fans or ano, ‘Uy, kumusta baby mo? Patingin naman. Pinapakita ko sa kanila. Hindi ko siya tinatago,” Zanjoe said.
The actor is happy that people who would see their child automatically don’t take pictures, and they don’t have to tell the people about this.
“Imbes na kunan nila, lalaruin nila. Makikipaglaro sila imbes na kunan ng picture,” Zanjoe said. The actor also shared that he and Ria are just waiting for their child to be able to speak, and he will be the one who will decide about this.
