Viral Woman in Alfamart Freezer Speaks Up After Receiving Criticisms
The woman who entered an ice freezer at a branch of Alfamart in Arayat, Pampanga, speaks up after her video went viral.
Recently, Vivian Bravo Vinuya, the viral woman in the video, has now come forward to share her side of the story. Her recent statement immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited comments from netizens.
The woman admitted that she was the woman in the video. Despite the backlash, she said she isn’t bothered by the negative comments. According to her, she’s used to being criticized, and many of the things being said aren’t even true.
“Bahala sila. Sanay na ako kung saan ,kung anong sinasabi nila sa akin. ‘Yung iba totoo, ‘yung iba hindi. Kaplastikan na lang,” Vivian said.
Instead of taking it personally, Vivian chooses to ignore them. The latter explained that she had just taken a bath before entering the freezer, claiming she wasn’t dirty. She also pointed out that the ice products were sealed in plastic and only become contaminated if the freezer is left open for too long.
“Hindi dirty ‘yun. Nakaplastik nga, ‘di ba? Pag nakabukas ‘yun, saka lang madumi na. So kung alam niyo pala? Kung alam lang namin, binili na namin ‘yun, pinasikat pa namin, ‘di ba?” she added.
The woman added that if they had known their actions would become viral, they might have even bought the ice as a way of promoting it. The viral lady seemed unfazed by the legal threats and even brushed them off lightly.
Meanwhile, Alfamart released a statement expressing concern over the misuse of their equipment. The company stated they are considering legal action to protect their brand and discourage similar incidents from happening.
The company also assured the public that they acted quickly after learning about the issue by removing all ice products, cleaning the freezer, and restocking with new items.
