Anjo Yllana shared a story about Kris Aquino
Queen of all Media Kris Aquino and actor Anjo Yllana had a relationship, and it only lasted for three weeks.
Anjo was the recent guest of veteran actress Snooky Serna on her YouTube channel. A part of the interview was the segment “Pick A Name,” in which Anjo picked Kris’s name.
Then, Snooky mentioned that Anjo and Kris were linked in the past. The actor casually said that they had two projects and that they were a couple.
“Ngayon ko lang ikukuwento ‘to, tutal matagal na ‘to, eh,” Anjo Yllana laughingly said. Snooky Serna said that she did not know about this.
“Nu’ng medyo kami pa…ano lang kami parang three weeks,” the actor shared. They broke up because there was a time when he visited Kris and brought flowers from Baguio. Anjo pointed out that what he brought were long-stemmed roses, and they were Hybrid Tea Roses, based on the article in Bandera.
Then, when he arrived at Kris Aquino’s house, he saw that she already had roses. Anjo asked Kris where these came from, and she mentioned Robin Padilla.
“Sabi ko, ‘nanliligaw ba sa ‘yo si Robin?’” Anjo asked Kris, who answered, “’Oh, he’s my boyfriend.’” Anjo asked again, “Huh! Boyfriend mo si Robin, boyfriend mo rin ako?”
It was said that Kris’s answer to this was, “Yeah, including Aga (Muhlach).” Snooky laughed hard at the story that Anjo shared. The actor shared that at that time, he felt like he had gone crazy, and he told Kris that they were friends only.
Eventually, they became close friends, and he was there for Kris when he went through a tough time after getting pregnant with her first son with veteran actor Phillip Salvador.
Anjo also shared that because he was there with Kris during that time, she told him to be the number one ninong of her child.
However, their closeness crashed because of veteran comedian Joey Marquez. “Nagkahiwalay kami ng landas nu’ng nag-away sila ni Joey Marquez, remember that, malaking issue ‘yun!” Anjo shared.
Back then, Anjo Yllana took Joey’s side, and that ended his friendship with Kris Aquino. However, they are okay now, and Kris would say hi to him when they met somewhere.
