“Mayor” – Kris Aquino chose this to be Herbert Bautista than Joey Marquez?
Queen of all Media Kris Aquino chose to prefer the term “mayor” to Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista than former Paranaque City Mayor Joey Marquez.
It is known to many showbiz enthusiasts that Kris had a relationship with the comedian despite their 13-year age gap.
Then, she was also romantically linked to Herbert. However, Kris is quite vocal of her almost-romance with the QC Mayor.
Until now, they remained as friends behind the things that happened between them. Kris revealed that the Mayor proposed to her twice but complicated things came along the way.
For Herbert, the social media influencer is “special“. “Di kayo magboyfriend/girlfriend, di kayo barkada lang. Special – kaya nga sinabi ko, mutual respect. Mataas na uri ng pagkakaibigan,” he previously said.
Apparently, Kris Aquino and Herbert Bautista are able to nurture the special friendship between them.
A recent Facebook post of the social media influencer proved this. Kris Aquino answered a question from a netizen.
“do you still love Mayor? Bahala ka na kung sinong mayor ang unang pumasok sa isip mo [laugh and three hearts emojis],” the netizen asked.
The netizen did not elaborate whether it was former Mayor Joey Marquez or incumbent QC Mayor Herbert Bautista.
On the other hand, Kris chose to focus her answer to Herbert. “Isang mayor lang naman ang nag-iwan ng tatak sa puso ko,” as she referred to the Mayor of Quezon City.

“Hi Lily. Isang mayor lang naman ang nag-iwan ng tatak sa puso ko. I never give safe answers. So here goes- mayor herbert falls in the category of LOVING THE IDEA OF ALL THAT COULD HAVE BEEN. “Honestly kung nagkatuluyan, sigurado ako HIWALAY na by now. He is too set in his ways, as i am in mine… and between the 2 of us, sa sobrang excess baggage- the airplane could never have taken off.”
