Michael V talked about being a comedian
Kapuso comedian Michael V shared the moment when he realized that he was a funny person.
Michael, also known as Bitoy, is considered one of the prominent names in the comedy scene in the Philippines. Over the years, he has done various comedy shows, such as the longest-running gag show, Bubble Gang, and his long-running sitcom Pepito Manaloto.
However, Michael entered the entertainment industry at first not as a comedian but as a rapper. Eventually, more than doing music, fans loved his humor. He was able to combine this with the hit parodies that he makes.

In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, the comedian was asked how he discovered that he was a funny person.
“Bata pa ako, parang Grade 5 yata ako or Grade 6 nung may ginawa ako School play. ‘Tapos, ang role na binigay sa akin e lolo. ‘Tapos ang naging peg ko noon si Sabatini Fernandez,” Michael V shared, referring to the late actor who he followed when it comes to this kind of acting.
With what he did at that time, Bitoy shared that the audience really laughed so hard. “Naisip ko na, may dating yata. Nakakatawa yata ako,” he said.

He added that in the first play he did when he was already in high school, his role once again was a grandfather. This was the same during his first play in college.
Bitoy also shared that his friends and classmates would laugh at his impersonation of the voices of popular cartoon characters. He said that he was really more inclined to do unique characters. “Medyo mimic kasi ako noon, bata pa ako nanggagaya na ako ng boses,” he shared.
He would mimic the characters he would see on TV, like Woody Woodpecker and the cast of Voltes V.
