Events planner and host Ivy Manzon-Bo, the high school classmate of Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, shared a story that happened years ago.
Marian is one of the most beautiful and popular actresses of her generation in the Philippine entertainment industry. She was given big projects by her home network, GMA, which boosted her career, including roles such as Marimar, Darna, and others.
However, despite her popularity and her status in showbiz, she is not immune to intrigues and controversies, just like her past issues or feuds with female celebrities like Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista, actress Lovi Poe, and multi-hyphenate Bela Padilla.
In a recent Facebook post, Ivy Manzon-Bo, who introduced herself as a classmate of Marian Rivera in high school, also shared an intriguing past with the Kapuso actress.
Ivy claimed that she and Marian were quite close at that time, as they were seatmates, dance group co-members, and they were both members of the varsity team. “She is a good friend way back,” Ivy shared.
It was said that there was a time when Marian believed a “chismis” or false story from someone, and it was against Ivy. Allegedly, the actress believed that story.
“Kaya sumugod nung may dala na softdrinks na nasa plastic,” Ivy said. Allegedly, Marian poured the beverage on her and that started the fight. They were both punished for that. Ivy added that this also happened during their college days.
However, in her post, the events host said that she and Marian Rivera are okay. Ivy Mamzon-Bo said that she posted this to stop people from asking.
On the other hand, this post is no longer available on her Facebook page, as of this writing. Ivy said that it was because Marian’s fans misunderstood her post and called her names.
