What is next for Willie Revillame after his failed senatorial stint?
Veteran TV host Willie Revillame allegedly will do an online show for now after his Wil To Win game show had a season break as he ran for senator in the 2025 elections.
Willie has been in the entertainment industry for several decades, and most of his successful years were spent on his game shows across different TV networks.
He had to take a break from doing his game show, Wil To Win, on TV5. It was because he aspired to be a public servant. For a while, he was replaced by his friend singer-host Randy Santiago, but the Kapatid network decided to take the show on a season break.
In a recent article by Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin, he shared what he got from insiders regarding the status of Willie Revillame’s show.
The writer said that they asked a TV5 insider who they frequently ask was “dedma” about the show of the veteran TV host. Willie is the co-producer of Wil To Win with MediaQuest.
Lalin also shared that rumors circulated that Willie’s show was terminated, but their source said that the veteran TV host is a partner in the construction of the TV5 Media Center in Mandaluyong, and that his show will return after the building is finished.
However, Lalin shared that their source revealed that in one instance, they talked with Willie Revillame, the host said that he might do an online show for now.
“Well, ano nga kaya ang totoo—hihintayin ni Willie na matapos ang new studio nila o mag-o-online show muna siya?” the entertainment writer said. As of this writing, there is no confirmation or official statement yet from Kuya Wil regarding his game show.
