Claudine Barretto talked about the most recent issue between her and Marjorie Barretto
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto reacted to the allegations that she contradicted her older sister Marjorie Barretto’s claim that she was physically abused by her ex-husband Dennis Padilla.
To recall, after the controversy that happened at Claudia Barretto’s wedding, when he ranted online regarding the treatment he received during the event. Because of this, Marjorie slammed Dennis in an interview. The former actress also revealed that her one ear had a problem after the actor hit her.
In a recent interview on the Jobert and Chap Channel on YouTube, Claudine shared that she was dragged into the issue.
The Optimum Star revealed that she has been receiving “threats” from her older brother Mito Barretto who allegedly took the side of Marjorie Barretto. With this, she sought help from the authorities. Jobert also shared that he read the threats sent to Claudine and he was alarmed as well.
Entertainment insider Jobert Sucaldito explained that the issue started when veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin shared on her Showbiz Now Na vlog that there was a reason why Dennis Padilla hit Marjorie Barretto and this damaged her ear.
Allegedly, Marjorie “slashed” Dennis’s back and that made him react, and unknowingly, he swung his hand and hit his ex-wife. Cristy said that her reliable source told her about this.
With this, Marjorie accused Claudine of being Cristy’s source of this story. However, Cristy stressed that Claudine was not her source and the latter also had the same statement about this.
It was said that because of this, the longstanding feud between the Barretto sisters was once again ignited. Claudine Barretto said that her brother Mito is now siding with Marjorie while their other siblings support her.
As of this writing, Marjorie Barretto has not spoken yet about this issue.
