Kapamilya actor-singer Kyle Echarri will join “100 Tula Para Kay Stella” actors Bela Padilla and JC Santos in the sequel, “100 Awit Para Kay Stella.”
After eight years, the movie “100 Tula Para Kay Stella” is finally going to have a sequel, and it will be called “100 Awit Para Kay Stella.” This movie stars Bela Padilla and JC Santos, and they are reprising their roles in the sequel.
Padilla and Santos play the roles of Stella and Fidel, respectively. Jason Paul Laxamana is also returning as director of the film. To recall, the first one was released in 2017. Fidel has been secretly writing love poems for her crush, fellow freshman Stella. This was the top-grosser in Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino in August 2017.

Kapamilya actor-singer Kyle Echarri will be joining Fidel and Stella in the sequel, and in an interview, he spoke about being given this opportunity. He recalled that he was just 14 years old when the original film was released and admitted that he has not watched it yet.
Despite not seeing the film yet, he is honored to be given a role in the sequel and to work with Padilla and Santos. He added that there’s pressure saying, “Obviously, nakaka-pressure siya kasi siyempre ang laki na ng 100 Tula Para Kay Stella. And then, it’s getting a sequel and I am a part of it pa. I am not allowing the pressure to get too much, of course, but I am just enjoying the ride.”
On the other hand, in real life, Echarri considers Padilla as one of his closest friends in the industry. They worked together in a series but became closer after doing the project because of Piolo Pascual.
