Janice de Belen was asked this question about her love life
Seasoned actress Janice de Belen said that she is hoping that she will not fall in love again.
Janice had a son with actor Aga Muhlach. Their relationship did not last long. In 1992, the actress got married to actor John Estrada and they were blessed with four children. Their marriage was officially annulled in 2004.
From that separation, Janice’s love life never came into the spotlight. She was busy working while taking care of her kids.
In a recent interview on the YouTube channel of veteran broadcaster Karmina Constantino, Janice de Belen was asked about her love life.
She was asked if she is open to entertaining romance in her life. The actress answered, “I keep on praying that it does not happen.” Janice shared that she saw herself when the time she was in love and she was not being logical or a rational person.
Janice said that when she is in love, it seems that she has no sense of direction and that she can’t think straight. She said that this was not other people’s fault but her. She knows this and she has accepted this.
“Na-realize ko na ayoko na ng kasama sa kwarto. Ayoko na ng may ka-share sa bathroom. Ito ang pinaka-trival sa lahat: ayoko na ng may ka-share sa remote control,” she shared.
The seasoned actress also said that now, she is happy that she can be able to do the things she wants. She said that being single, she does not need to ask permission from someone if she wants to buy 10 books.
Then, she mentioned that some people would say that after a heartbreak, one will have learnings and realizations. With this, the old ways will also change. However, for Janice, this would not be the case.
The actress said that she knows her core and this will not change. “You change as a person, but your core does not change. So feeling ko, I will be back in the same pattern. It will still happen to me, magiging ganon pa rin kasi ‘yun ako eh,” Janice de Belen said.
