MAN DIES OF RABIES – Janelo Limbing from Cabuyao, Laguna, has passed away at 31 due to rabies, and this is his final message for his family.
A 31-year-old man named Janelo Limbing from Cabuyao, Laguna, has died months after he was bitten by a dog. He was 31 years old and died due to rabies. He was bitten by a dog tied outside the house of his brother.
He received anti-rabies vaccination, but did not finish the recommended doses. It is speculated that he did not go on due to the expensive vaccine. The incident occurred in August 2024, but the symptoms surfaced on May 14, 2025, or 9 months after he was bitten. On May 18, he passed away at the age of 31.
According to his wife, he was as if drowning or was desperately for air whenever he drank water. There was even a time when he got extremely scared by the air coming out of the electric fan.
However, before he died, he was still able to make a video leaving his final message for his family. He has two children, and his wife is nearly due with their third child.
In the video he made before passing, he was smiling while expressing his message to his family.
“At sa aking mga anak, ingat kayo palagi. Lumaki sana kayong malusog. Huwag niyong kalimutang alagaan ang inyong nanay. Salamat na kayo ang naging anak ko. Ba-bye!” he told his children.
