Aklan Vlogger Banned from Driving for Life After Dangerous Motorcycle Stunt
BOY KAYAK – An Aklan vlogger was banned from driving after making a dangerous motorcycle stunt.
Recently, The Land Transportation Office in Western Visayas (LTO-6) issued a lifetime ban on Jimmy Lagunday Catarata or popular known as “Boy Kayak.” Along with the permanent ban, he is also no longer allowed to apply for a driver’s license at any point in the future.
In the video, he was seen lying face-down on a moving motorcycle, copying Superman’s flying pose while dressed in only underwear and a crop top.

Authorities explained that it didn’t matter if the road was empty or if the video was made just for entertainment. Performing such a reckless stunt, regardless of the setting or intention, was considered a serious safety violation.
The vlogger didn’t even have a proper driver’s license when the video was filmed. This added to the severity of his penalty and supported the decision to block him from driving for life.
He was also placed under “alarm status,” which means that authorities will be notified if he tries to get a license again.

“The argument that such acts were done for content purposes – that he made sure that there no other people and motor vehicles; that it was not done in a national road – are not valid defenses that would negate the fact that such acts constitute reckless driving,” the LTO-6 said.
The decision from LTO-6 sends a strong message that traffic laws are not just guidelines, they are meant to protect lives. Irresponsible behavior on the road has real consequences, even for those seeking attention online.
