Jam Magno was once again arrested for a cyber libel complaint

Social media personality Jam Magno proudly shared a video that she voluntarily surrendered after a cyber libel complaint was filed against her.

Jam is a known hard-core supporter of former President Rodrigo Duterte. She is not afraid to share her opinion regarding politics and social issues. The social media personality would also fight online with her bashers.

With what she has been saying online, she faced cyber libel complaints, just like what happened in 2023. Her mug shot went viral at that time because she was widely smiling. She said that it was because she was not guilty.

Just recently, the same scenario happened for Jam Ignacio. Based on the article in Balita, the social media personality shared a video on her Facebook reel that is no longer available, as of this writing.

The video was screengrabbed and shared on Reddit. Jam said that she was already thinking that people would share her video and it would go viral, so she prepared for it. She did her hair and makeup to look good in her mug shot. She also stressed that she voluntarily surrendered.

The social media personality even thanked the CIDG 13 for taking care of her. “RELEASED IN PERFECT CONDITION I am so grateful to the CIDG – Butuan City Field Unit for taking care of me when I VOLUNTARILY SURRENDERED to your office today. Padayon!!” she captioned her post.

It was said that Jam Magno paid ₱24,000 for every count of cyber libel complaint filed against her. Because of this, she was released.

In the comment section of the Reddit post, netizens expressed negative reactions. A netizen asked why Jam was allowed to do that and she seemed mocking the law. Another netizen pointed out that it was Jam’s coping mechanism.
