BONGBONG MARCOS – In his speech, the Philippine President joked about the move to recalibrate the administration.

Previously, Pres. Marcos admitted his realization that the outcome of the 2025 Elections allegedly show that the Filipinos are disappointed with the service of the government. The Chief Executive also thinks that the results show that the people are tired of politicking.

In the 2025 Senatorial Race, six (6) candidates endorsed by Marcos Jr.’s Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago won. The President fervently campaigned for the bets of the grand alliance which he called his “dream team”.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos even called on the Filipinos to vote the Alyansa bets for the continuity of the projects that the government has already started. He boasted that all the senatorial candidates supported by the administration have an experience in public service.

Following the results of the 2025 Senatorial Race, Pres. Bongbong Marcos ordered all the secretaries of his Cabinet for a courtesy resignation earlier today. According to him, based on the outcome of the recent elections, the Filipino people have spoken and the government must act on it.

The President wants a recalibration of the administration. Several Cabinet secretaries have already resigned from their positions. Recently, the Chief Executive spoke about the newly-enacted laws.

Based on a report on GMA News, at the start of his speech about the newly-enacted laws, Pres. Bongbong Marcos joked about the move to recalibrate his administration. In front of the government officials, he jested if he still has a Cabinet member left.

”Teka, may laman pa ba ‘yung Gabinete ko?’ Who am I addressing now? We are in flux,” Marcos Jr. said.

Based on the report, several secretaries of the Cabinet of Marcos Jr. have submitted their resignations. Department of Education or DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara has resigned following the order of Marcos Jr.

Amid the feud between him and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, Pres. Marcos recently admitted that he is open to reconcile with the Duterte family. However, Malacañang was quick to clarify the intent of the President saying that he will not bend the laws for reconciliation and the offer was not limited to the Dutertes.
