Senate Pres. Chiz Escudero Reacts To Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ Realizations on 2025 Election Results
CHIZ ESCUDERO – The Senate President agreed with Pres. Bongbong Marcos on his realizations from the results of the 2025 Midterm Elections.
The 2025 Elections that included both local and national polls are over. The Senate Magic 12 is composed of senatorial candidates coming from the different political slates. Not all candidates of Marcos Jr.’s Alyansa Para Sa Pagbabago made it to the Top 12 in the results.

According to Pres. Bongbong Marcos, he realized from the 2025 Election results that the Filipinos are disappointed by the services of the government. He also believes that the outcome of the polls also showed that the people are tired of politicking.
Marcos Jr. stressed that the government are too focused on the long-term projects for the benefits of the Filipino people. According to him, while they are beneficial, they require a lot of time and the people may not feel what the government is doing.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos also admitted that the government missed the minor matters. He vowed to boost the delivery of the basic services to the people. Recently, Senate Pres. Chiz Escudero reacted to the realizations of the President from the results of the 2025 Elections.

Based on a report on Inquirer, Senate Pres. Chiz Escudero agree on the takes of Pres. Bongbong Marcos with regards to the 2025 Election results. According to him, the Philippine government owes it to the Filipinos to rise above the division for the sake of the country.
“The President’s message is clear: now is the time to build bridges, not burn them. We owe it to our people to rise above division and do better—together—for the sake of our nation,” Escudero said.
Based on the report, Senate Pres. Chiz Escudero also joins the call of Pres. Bongbong Marcos for the leaders of the country to set aside politics. He stressed that many Filipinos are struggling now.
“I agree with President Bongbong Marcos’ call to set aside politics and focus on the needs of our countrymen. He is right; our country’s leaders cannot afford to be consumed by politics when so many of our countrymen struggle simply to make ends meet,” the Senate President said.
Amid the soured relationship between him and his former running mate in the 2022 Elections, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, Pres. Bongbong Marcos recently said he’s willing to make amends with the Duterte family. The Chief Executive was greatly blamed over the transfer of the custody of the Duterte patriarch, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands.
