After Multiple Wins in Election 2025, Duterte’s Children, Grandchildren Meet for Thanksgiving Event
DUTERTE’S CHILDREN – The family of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte held a family meeting for their thanksgiving following multiple election wins.
The arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte last March 11 was unexpected for the Filipino populace. It came amid his mayoralty bid in Davao City. Amid the campaign period, three (3) of his children spent some weeks in The Hague, Netherlands to visit him.

Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s children also fervently campaigned for the PDP-Laban bets as requested by their father. Vice Pres. Sara Duterte joined several local campaign sorties to endorse the #Duter10 as well as Senator Imee Marcos and Las Piñas district Representative Camille Villar who were later on adopted by the PDP-Laban.
Following the 2025 Elections, not only five (5) of the PDP-Laban bets won the senatorial race but several members of the Duterte family also secured government positions in Davao. Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte himself won mayor in Davao despite his current detention in The Hague, Netherlands.

It was a landslide win for former Pres. Duterte. According to his youngest brother, Bong, who is currently in The Hague, the former President is very happy to know that he won in the mayoralty position in their city.
Aside from former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, his children, Davao First District Congressman Paolo Duterte and Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte, also won in the 2025 Elections. Congressman Pulong won in his reelection bid while Mayor Baste won vice mayor. Two (2) sons of the Congressman also secured government seats in Davao.
Recently, following multiple election wins, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s children and grandchildren held a family meeting. Based on the social media post of Congressman Pulong Duterte, it was over their thanksgiving.

Congressman Pulong also left an inspiring note in his post — “Not everything will always go the way we want it to, but there is always always always something to be grateful for.” He ended his post by expressing their longing for the presence of the former President — “We miss you Pa!”
Duterte allies, Sen. Bong Go and Sen. Bato dela Rosa, ranked first and third in the senatorial election, respectively, based on the partial results. According to Sen. Bato dela Rosa, he is thankful for the “protest votes” allegedly because of what was done to Duterte.
