DAVID LICAUCO – Kapuso actor David Licauco surprised fans by revealing that he once auditioned for Pinoy Big Brother back in 2015, long before his rise to stardom.
David Licauco recently shared a surprising revelation about his journey with Pinoy Big Brother (PBB). In an Instagram post on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Licauco disclosed that he once auditioned for the popular reality show back in 2015.
“Wow. Crazy to think I once lined up for PBB auditions in 2015… and years later, I got to be a houseguest,” he wrote. This revelation came just days after he completed his stint as a houseguest in PBB: Celebrity Collab. David reflected on his unique experience, saying it was far different from what he had initially imagined. “It was different from what I imagined—may magic talaga sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya,” he added.
Though he described himself as a quiet presence inside the house, David emphasized how much he learned about himself during his stay. “Truth is, no one really knows what it’s like inside unless you’ve lived it,” he shared.
David also took the time to thank everyone who supported him during his short stay inside the iconic house. In a light-hearted note, he joked, “To everyone who supported, thank you. (Sa mga naboringan sakin, sorry na po!)”
He extended his gratitude to his fellow housemates, praising their warmth and the memorable conversations they shared. He also mentioned some of his favorite food moments in the house, including Ate Klang’s home-cooked dishes, Ralph’s perfectly cooked rice, and Esnyr’s ice cream.
Interestingly, David also revealed a little-known fact: “Fun fact: I was actually considered to be a housemate earlier this year. :))”
